a whole lot i like about this song 

the lyrics to this hymn i've always loved.

but this version .. . 

there's some funky offbeat going on. 

i'm sure that's not how to technically - musically - describe it. 

but You know exactly what i'm talking about. 

i'm a fan of all things like that.

regular - or what may seem like "perfection"  - is plain ole boring.

i have three or four posts in queue before any new ones.. . but this song appeared on my Pandora today.  
and I realized it had been way too long since Jose and I had seen and hung with each other.
far far too long.
.a lapse in my musical judgement.
and bad for my overall .emotional health

i could go on and on about the song. his voice.
and all the little details in the video.
the craft.
the genius in it all.

but i'll leave it up to you.

mannequins on the toilet

ok. this is AWESOME.
i so miss Polaroid.
but two questions.
Why the creepy mannequin?
and what is with the girl developing a photo on the toilet?

All i have to say is Repeat, Repeat, Repeat. 

I can think of so many awesome things to do with this song and my students.

tonight, though i spent almost 45 minutes searching for this commercial _ because i Loved the song.
it was UNUSUALLY hard to find.
