it's been a long time since the last sunday.one hundred.
i have a lot of catch.up to play.
that's ok.
i've been doing it./// / /just not online.
all around in my notebooks/ here and there.

that's where i'll start.

they are everywhere.
and i honestly have started to feel like a writer.
it's funny because. i teach my students about this. and make an effort to refer to them as 'writers' so they can own their work.
own their words.
it seems though, that once i started this blog I can't stop the ideas from flowing out of me_wherever i may be. so i must have some means of recalling these ideas later on. If you remember I even have a method in the shower. ...

another adorns my living room wall. 
bought it for a hundred and a half from a flea market in west virginia. 
beautiful turquoise and blue glass, all intact church windowpane. almost four feet wide across.

24. abagail, my girl. 
sometimes when i come to my parents' house i still expect to see her scurrying to the door. 
this was snapped a few years back when she lived with me for a bit. fresh outta the bath.

I've received a couple recently and they just about made my month! 
Don't they just make you feel like a million bucks?  i think it's time to send out a few _ or drop some off on doorsteps soon.

i pretend like i hate them.

i kinda love them.. cause i know she loves me more than anything else.

the first ten _ of last half.. .

49.  the sound of a running bath.tub.
part of the reason is from my own childhood.
the other part  =  bathtime for my nieces and nephews.
nothin' like this little baby belly and bottom in the tub.
aDorable.

48. the feeling of putting chapstick on. .. or maybe it's just this one specific chapstick i've had for a bit now. the reasoning could be two.fold.

47. the center of Westfield, New Jersey. go.. you'll love it. make sure to visit The Town Book Store.

45. the smell of summer rain.. those quick rainshowers when.. moments later everything has evaporated. there's a certain scent.

44. when people i love and .... who are part of my heart. . are happy

43. a good fountain Coca.Cola_ i don't do diet soda. never have. never will.

I've become slightly obsessed.
have them in my apartment. my classroom.
put flowers in them. wrap cute farm ribbon 'round them. each table group at school has their pencils and pens, erasers in them. quite useful they are. and free.

41. my Grand.father
we were kindred spirits of sorts. and he loved me more than anything.
he was an artist. a wise ass.
could be mean as all else, but had all the love in his heart for his family.
the whole town of madison knew him in the two months after he moved in, Big Lou _ but only 5 feet tall, loved food. Sen.Sen., cashews, and rye toast. always had his camera with him.
just thinking about him makes me cry. i miss him.

40. the beach at night. not during the day. i actually hate it during the day. i will now readily admit that i'm not a beach person. that's really not the popular opinion. but since #64. after growing into myself.. i am willing to admit this .. sun poisoning is not my favorite thing. and that seems to conveniently happen each time i head toward the beach these days. or as in Fools Rush In style, [5:12] one of my favorite movies...

59. girl talks about stupid boys.
one of my besties, Michelle, just left.
love her. love our conversations. we just get each other.
What a blessing she is in my life.

53.  my favorite mug. it's heavy. it's plain _  not the prettiest, by far. but it's my favorite and it makes my tea even much more comforting.

52.  lilacs
there was a bush near my house when i was growing up.
bloomed every spring. the scent traveled throughout the neighborhood.
the new neighbors cut it down when they moved in, never understood why.. how very silly? who in their right mind would ever do such a thing?

51. my crinkle paged, well. worn bible with underlining and notes and stars. Looking at it. makes me feel like i have a two.way journal with God.

50. impatiens seed pods.
my sister and i used to love to pop these as little girls. sending the seeds flying about.
my mother plants impatiens faithfully every summer as much as I dare her to spice things up a bit. i would miss these pods, though. last year, i sent some of them to my sister. I think they were all popped by the time they made it from nj to Michigan.

before even starting this post ... i knew i was a list maker. i LOVE writing things to do. ideas for future careers, stores to open, books to write. oh, it iS endless. lists ARE endless obviously.. isn't that the point?


the fun in this one, though, is it is all things i love. things that i love to think of. that i love to eat. that i love to touch. that i love to hear. fill in the _______.
